Mentioning and alerting users

You can "mention" one or more users in the topic in your messages.

Simply use the mention-sign (@) in front of their username to trigger a mention.

For example:

Hello @alice and @bob! triggers a normal mention to both alice and bob.

Mentions can be of either LOW, NORMAL or HIGH priority, based on an optional character at the end of their username. For example:

@alice triggers a NORMAL priority mention
@alice! triggers a HIGH priority mention
@alice- triggers a LOW priority mention

A HIGH priority mention sends a push-notification to the user

A NORMAL or LOW priority mention simply highlights the mention in the topic, but does not notify the user. The user will find the topic in their Open topic list.
